We are seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic Project Manager based in Wellington, who is looking to expand their career in Project Management. We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, listening to customer wants and pain points, using their insight to design and create what customers actually need. 
  
This is a busy role in a team where there are multiple projects on at any given time. The successful candidate will therefore need to be able to demonstrate past experience managing multiple engagements. 
  
We are passionate about ensuring our projects are successful and clients are referenceable. As a Fusion5 Project Manager you will be in the front line of creating that success. You will also be a member of our PMO team.
  
Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver multiple, concurrent projects at any given time
  • Create, execute and review work orders and project plans
  • Manage project budgets and day-to-day operational aspects
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Provide accurate and precise reporting, including the management of risks and issues
  • Review and monitor deliverables and seek opportunities for improvement to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.

We need a strong player who:

  • Has proven project management experience of 1-3 Years, NZ Government project delivery experience is an advantage
  • Understands the full lifecycle implementation and upgrade experience in medium to large scale projects
  • Is familiar with IT/consultancy within Payroll, Time and Attendance or HR projects (PMI or PRINCE2 an advantage)
  • Has experience in managing teams, project budgets and client relationships
  • Thrives on being across all aspects of their projects and addresses risks and issues before they become problems
  • Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage conflicting priorities and cope with a constantly changing landscape
  • Has experience with Agile project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures
  • Is an excellent communicator with an eye for detail – able to tailor information and reporting to different audiences, and provide efficient, knowledgeable customer service to our clients
  • Is self-driven, resilient and adaptable to changing requirements when required.
