Fusion5 is seeking an Inside Salesperson who will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and supporting the sales team. This is a non-quota carrying role that includes all the responsibilities of a Lead Generation Business Development Representative who is responsible to support the Sales Executives in driving nurture, leads and driving pipeline for the business.
This role is aimed at engaging at Enterprise organisations of New Zealand to introduce our competencies for supporting their business and digital transformation.
This is the first line of the customer experience journey with Fusion5, and the ideal candidate would still be doing client facing prospecting and lead generation, providing sales insights, and supporting the sales team.
Key Accountabilities
The role:
You will be supported by a highly experienced Sales Manager, Sales Teams, and the Marketing Team. You’ll be expected to:
- Research your target accounts, as well as their industries key business pain points, and engage them with compelling content that lead to meaningful sales conversations.
- Understand the value proposition behind Fusion5’s solutions and services, and be able to articulate this to different roles and personas, across a range of industries.
- Hold ‘C’ level conversations that would be highly targeted and relevant to ‘open the door’ for a Fusion5 engagement
- Engage in meaningful business conversations with key decision makers and stakeholders, demonstrating your understanding of their unique industry challenges, and the benefits of overcoming them.
- Produce a pipeline of well-qualified opportunities for our Sales Team, with as many Budget, Authority, Need, Time (BANT) criteria as possible.
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospects interested in Microsoft solutions, Jemini Payroll/ HR, Integration & Interoperability, Data & Analytics, Cloud Infrastructure and Security, Managed Service, and Business Transformation Advisory.
- Nurturing leads and prospects who are not yet ready to engage with a Sales Executive ensuring Fusion5 is top of mind for when they are ready to engage
- Securing appointments for Sales Executives, building and nurturing relationships.
Research
- Finding companies in our targeted sectors / ideal customer persona who would benefit from Fusion5 offerings
- Researching our current customer success stories, magazines, industry bodies, and other sources for potential similar companies to target
- Profiling companies and documenting findings in the CRM
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Communication
- Providing regular updates on leads
- Interacting professionally with potential customers to discover their business needs and develop positive relationships
- Ensuring high levels of marketplace networking and maintaining written communication standards.
- Analyzing sales data and providing insights to improve sales strategies
Supporting the Sales Team
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
- Assisting in the coordination of achieving the GTM business plans
- Providing administrative support to the sales team as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Skills: Ability to engage with ‘C’ levels via phone, qualify business strategy, analyse customer needs, present solutions, goal-oriented, self- organised, self-motivated, and a desire to understand the Cloud ERP/CRM industry.
Experience: 2-4 years in sales and/or marketing, preferably in business applications, software, technical, telecommunications, IT, or consulting roles.
Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
