Civeo takes out Fusion5's Innovation Incubation Competition

We’re delighted to announce that our Innovation Incubation Competition prize of (up to) $50,000 of consultancy and development has been won by Civeo, a global workforce accommodation specialist. The competition ran in the later part of 2017 and was open to our Australian and New Zealand customers.

Shannon Moir, Director Digital Innovation for Fusion5, says “The quality of ideas that our customers sent in was impressive. We’re excited to see so many businesses embrace innovation as part of their technology roadmaps. We chose Civeo based on their submission of a IoT concept that will enable their JD Edwards solution to instantly act on real-time data from the field to resolve problems.

“As part of the project, Fusion5 will take the lead in ensuring that any data tracking can be put into big data and farmed at a later stage. Using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) this should enable us to turn reactive responses into proactive actions.”

While the details of Civeo’s IoT concept are under wraps for now, we look forward to showcasing the outcome as a case study when it is complete.
