Microsoft is rolling out important changes to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations licensing.

From 30 August 2025, all users will need an assigned licence to access D365 applications.
Administrators now have access to usage reporting (since 30 April), and users without licences will start seeing in-product prompts. These changes are designed to give organisations time to prepare before enforcement begins.
