Fusion5 is seeking an Inside Sales Person who will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and supporting the sales team.
This role includes all the responsibilities of a Business Development Representative, who is client facing doing prospecting and lead generation, with additional sales responsibilities, providing sales insights, and supporting the sales team.
Key Accountabilities
Lead Generation
- Researching companies and making cold calls
- Researching companies to make strategic outreach via email, phone and LinkedIn to a target list of accounts and industries
- Acting as the first point of contact for prospects through outbound calls and incoming inquiries
- BANT qualifying prospects and producing quality leads for the sales team
- Managing, nurturing, and converting inbound leads into sales opportunities
- Communication and providing engaging information about Fusion5’s value proposition to potential customers
- Nurturing leads and prospects who are not yet ready to engage with a Sales Executive ensuring Fusion5 is top of mind for when they are ready to engage
- Securing appointments for Business Development Managers , building and nurturing relationships.
Marketing
- Running regular campaigns and generating high levels of campaign responses
- Following up with potential leads
- Planning and conducting regular marketing activities and maintaining a contact list.
Research
- Finding companies in targeted sectors who would benefit from Fusion5 offerings
- Organisation mapping of accounts
- Researching magazines, industry bodies, and other sources for potential companies to target
- Profiling companies and documenting findings in the CRM
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Communication
- Providing regular updates on leads
- Communicating internally about upcoming resources and events
- Interacting professionally with potential customers to discover their business needs and develop positive relationships
- Ensuring high levels of marketplace networking and maintaining written communication standards.
Inside Sales Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
- Supporting the sales team in closing deals and achieving sales targets
- Conducting product demonstrations and providing product information to potential customers
- Handling customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Closing small New Business and Existing Customer deals.
Sales Insights
- Analyzing sales data and providing insights to improve sales strategies
- Preparing sales reports and presenting findings to the sales team.
Supporting the Sales Team
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
- Assisting in the coordination of sales events and activities
- Providing administrative support to the sales team as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Skills: Ability to sell via phone, qualify business strategy, analyse customer needs, present solutions, goal-oriented, self- organised, self-motivated, and a desire to understand the Cloud ERP/CRM industry.
Experience: 2-4 years in sales and/or marketing, preferably in software, technical, telecommunications, IT, or consulting roles.
Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
